Rachel Robinson

Knowledge Exchange Facilitator

Rachel Robinson is a Mental Health Professional from Six Nations of the Grand River and is Turtle Clan. Residing in the Niagara Region in Southern Ontario, she is passionate about assisting Indigenous Peoples in enhancing Wholistic Wellbeing and strengthening community wellness. Having achieved her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Indigenous Studies in 2014, she is currently working to complete her Master of Social Work Degree in the Indigenous Field of Study.

Rachel has worked in the Social Service Sector serving Urban Indigenous Communities for 9 years, gaining experience as a Mental Health Professional as an Indigenous Mental Health Counsellor for the past two years. She is driven by her connection to Indigenous ways of life, community, and wholistic wellness. She is inspired by her professional and personal experiences to add to her bundle as a means of better assisting Indigenous Individuals and Communities.

Rachel is thrilled to have the opportunity to join the First Peoples Wellness Circle Team to contribute to vital and impactful projects pertaining to Indigenous health and wellness at the National Level.
